The specific strategies that exist to manage knowledge will vary depending on which institution or organization we are part of. Some of us already have knowledge-management systems in place within our own institutions and are highly organized with documentation and communication. Others have a ways to go. However knowledge management can also imply a flow of knowledge between institutions, or mapping exercises to identify how knowledge can best be used. The prime focus of this group will be on the ever evolving relationship between setting strategies and policy priorities and the existing knowledge housed within development organizations and institutions.
