This study helped us identify substantive technical content needed to support technology transfer activities of KariaNet member projects. The most highly prioritized issue is the improvement of reproduction and husbandry of small ruminants, especially that sheep - and goats to a lesser extent - in MENA are mostly concentrated in dry areas, where they play an important socioeconomic role.
