The Regional Training Workshop on KariaNet Website Content Management has started today (Sunday 4 May 2008) in Cairo Sheraton in very good conditions. Ms. Yasmine El Mehairy and Mr. Abdelkarim Mardini from OpenCraft were in charge of the training, with the help of Mrs. Hala Rafik and Dr. Mustapha Malki, respectively KariaNet Project Administrator and Regional Coordinator. 19 participants from Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia attended this workshop. Sincere thanks must be presented to Eng. Raymon Samir, the IT staff from IDRC MERO, whose help was very valuable in getting this morning 10 laptops ready and in ensuring their wireless connection to Internet in the training venue.
